Beta Gamma Sigma celebrates centennial

Students, faculty and staff gathered in the Koury Business Center lobby in honor of Beta Gamma Sigma’s centennial on Feb. 19.

Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honor society accredited by AACSB International- The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This society provides members with the highest recognition possible a business student can receive in a baccalaureate or graduate program that is AACSB accredited.

Beta Gamma Sigma’s mission is, “To encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, foster personal and professional excellence to advance the values of the society, and to serve its lifelong members.”

“BGS is an incredible organization offering students all around the world an opportunity to connect and share experiences with each other,” said Elon BGS Vice President Chelsea Helms ’13. “I feel so honored to be part of such a unique community that encourages not only my success at college but in my future endeavors in the business world.”
