Faculty present at conference on play

Three faculty members presented their work at the Association for the Study of Play, held Feb. 23-26 in Santa Fe, N.M.

Maureen Vandermaas-Peeler, associate professor of psychology, presented a paper titled “Parental guidance with four-year-olds during literacy and play activities.”

Tom Henricks, professor of sociology and Distinguished University Professor, presented his paper titled “Play as Regression.”

Judy Esposito, assistant professor of human services, gave a presentation titled “Filial Therapy: Teaching Teachers and Parents how to play with children.”
