Elon MBA named nation's #8 “best administered” program

The Princeton Review gives high marks to the MBA program of Elon's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.

The Princeton Review ranks Elon the nation’s #8 “best administered” business school and also ranks Elon among the top business schools in the Southeast in its 2019 edition of the “Best Business Schools.”

The Princeton Review’s annual guide of top graduate business programs is based on data provided by schools and a survey of 18,400 business school students and administrators across the nation.

According to Robert  Franek, Princeton Review Editor-in-Chief,  “We recommend Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business as one of the best to earn an MBA. We chose the 252 on-campus MBA programs schools on this list based on our high regard for their academics and our assessment of institutional data we collect from the schools.”

“The Best 252 Business Schools: 2019 Edition” has two-page profiles of the schools with write-ups on their academics, career placement, student life and environment, and admissions. In the profile on Elon, the Princeton Review editors wrote the following, including quotes from Elon students:

The MBA program of the Love School of Business has a “great reputation” as “a specialized MBA for full-time working professionals.” Students praise Elon’s “leadership philosophy,” “learning culture,” and “great program flexibility.” Elon focuses “on engaged learning, top quality of content taught, [and] values-based leadership. . . . It’s why their reputation is growing so rapidly,” one student notes.

Students praised the “top-notch” and “amazing” administration who “all work very well together and make you feel at home.” They said professors are “open with their time and always willing to meet outside of class,” and most of them “have over 20 years experience in their fields.” Professors bring this “real business experience” to class, and courses themselves are “largely current event and real world driven.” Professors “offer challenging work, but are also always there to help.” This is a school where “professors know students by name. Even Deans know students by name.” As one student says, “Elon fosters an atmosphere deeply rooted in supporting one another through team building activities.”

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business — the premier accrediting agency for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in accounting, management and business administration.
