Performing Arts Associate Professor Lynne Kurdziel Formato received a Directors’ Award from the Zodiaque Dance Company during their Celebration 40 Anniversary Gala at the University at Buffalo.
This award was designed to recognize individuals who over years have demonstrated a willingness to give back to both the artistic and educational endeavors supported by the Zodiaque Dance Company. In addition, the selection committee considered university service, community engagement, and the ability to inspire and enhance the lives of future artists.
The award letter stated: “Your enthusiasm, outstanding mentorship of students, and expertise in your field are a most forceful combination of attributes – ones that will serve as examples of excellence for generations of faculty who serve in higher education.”
