Thriving – not just surviving – during tough times

We have all felt the many challenges that rolled in with 2020. Even now, we contemplate the new challenges and opportunities that we will face in this new academic year.

To operate in a more fiscally responsible manner, we decided to share our annual report in a virtual platform instead of a printed document. We hope you will scroll through these Elon Academy stories and share with us in our hope – hope for a brighter future.

Elon Academy scholars know what it means to face challenges as they strive to be the first in their family to successfully complete college. One of our mottos is not simply to survive but to thrive, even in the face of challenges. Elon Academy scholars have been thriving even in the midst of a pandemic, social unrest, economic uncertainty and political mayhem. I hope you find their stories as inspiring as we do.

Their accomplishments would not be possible without the leadership and commitment of our generous supporters. We thank all our donors for supporting the Elon Academy with their gifts, as well as their time, expertise and words of encouragement. Our work is not finished. We will continue to raise funds to support operations of the academy as well as build the endowment, which will secure the long-term future of this amazing program. I hope we can count on your continued support.
