The Clark Family Audio Editing Suite includes five professionally equipped rooms in McEwen Communications Building designed for podcasting, voiceover, Foley, ADR, music recording, and advanced audio editing. Here is an overview of each space and its access requirements.

Podcast Studio – McEwen 008E

Features:

  • 4 × Shure SM7 microphones
  • Rode Rodecaster Pro II audio recorder
  • Studio headphones
  • Use: High-quality podcast production

Access:

  • Open to all Elon students, faculty, and staff after completing a 30-minute training session.

  • Solid State Logic pre-amps
  • Avid S1 control surface
  • Genelec audio monitors
  • Use: Professional audio recording and editing

Access:

Performance space ideal for:

  • Voiceovers

  • Sound effect creation
  • Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR)
  • Music recording
