Preceptor Information for the Elon University Charlotte PA Program

Elon University’s Charlotte PA program is a rigorous 24-month curriculum that blends 12 months of foundational didactic learning with 12 months of immersive, hands-on clinical education. Students complete seven core rotations — Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Women’s Health, and Behavioral Medicine — along with one elective to round out their training. When they enter your practice, our students arrive well prepared, grounded in best practices for patient safety and professionalism, and guided by clear instructional objectives that ensure a meaningful and structured clinical experience.
