Special committees of the Board are created as warranted to provide guidance to the Board and university leadership on a particular topic or issue.

Ad Hoc Committee on Economization of Assets

The committee is charged with identifying and developing strategies for optimizing the university’s existing physical and human assets to generate new revenue streams while maintaining Elon’s core mission of educational excellence and student success. The committee will review existing university assets, consider innovative practices from other institutions, and develop revenue generation strategies in coordination with campus expertise.

Ad Hoc Committee on Pricing Sensitivity and Future Budget Scenarios

The committee is charged with assessing market tolerance for various tuition and fee structures at the undergraduate level through comprehensive testing and analysis. The committee’s work will inform strategic pricing decisions that balance accessibility with institutional financial sustainability. The committee will engage external expertise to conduct market testing and analyze price sensitivity across key demographic segments.
