¡Celebremos!: Graduates Take Flight

¡Celebremos!: Graduates Take Flight is our annual stole ceremony dedicated to recognizing the efforts and successes of graduates who celebrate Latinx/Hispanic cultures and traditions.

This year’s ¡Celebremos!: Graduates Take Flight ceremony will take place Thursday, May 21st at 1PM in Lakeside, followed by a celebration in Medallion Plaza.

If you’re a December 2025 or May 2026 Graduate, please fill out the two forms below.

The first form is for the Latinx/Hispanic stole you will receive during the ceremony designed by alum Nico Gaspar ’22. Seniors will have to pay $15 to reserve a stole. Payments can be made by credit card or by cash brought directly to Sylvia Munoz, Director of CREDE (munozs@elon.edu). Please contact munozs@elon.edu, if you have questions about payment. To reserve a stole, submit this form by March 20th, 2026.
In the second form, you will add your information and the paragraph for your “village”. During the stole ceremony, you will have the opportunity to thank your “village.” Your village can be anyone who has helped you along your journey through college: your parents, grandparents, friends, professors, mentors, etc. You will be asked to write a short letter thanking them (no more than 250 words). This letter will be read out loud during the ceremony in whatever language you choose to write it (English, Spanish, Portuguese). Submit this form by April 3rd, 2026 at 5:00pm
