  • Identify goals and objectives and general space needs

Project Validation (AVP for Facilities and Associate Provost)

  • Confirm alignment to University mission/Strategic plan

Programming (Associate Provosts, Deans, Department Heads, Building Committee, etc.)

  • Define project scope with detailed space and equipment needs

Feasibility Study/Site Analysis (Academic Affairs, Facilities)

  • Develop list of and vet potential site options

Develop project estimate and schedule (PDCM, consultants, partners)

  • Develop reasonable cost and design/construction schedule
