How to Log In to Dell Laptops Off Campus

If you have taken a Dell Laptop off campus and are either not connected to wifi, or connected to wifi that is not elonu-connect, then you will be unable to log in with you Elon credentials. To check your wifi connection, click on the wifi icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

If staff were informed of the intention to use the laptop off campus, then you should have received a username and password specific to the Dell Laptop in your checkout. However, most login issues pertain to username errors; please check your username formatting below.

Troubleshooting Off Campus Login:

  1. Please reference your Dell Laptop number, found on the lid of the laptop, and make note of it.
  2. Type in the appropriate username using the formatting below:
    1. For Laptops 01-09, your username is: OOCL-##\elonoc where “##” is replaced by your laptop number
      1. e.g. if you have Dell Laptop 08, your username is OOCL-08\elonoc
    2. For Laptops 010-040, your username is OOCL-###\elonoc where “###” is replaced by your laptop number
      1. e.g. if you have Dell Laptop 038, your username is OOCL-038\elonoc
    3. For all logins, please double check that you are using a backslash “\” found above the enter key, not the more common forward slash
