2017 Fall Mindfulness Workshops

We have two workshop times this semester. Students must commit to all four sessions. All Elon students are welcome to signup.

  • Tuesdays, 4:15-5:30pm, Sept 12, 19, 26, Oct 3
  • Fridays, 2:30-3:45pm, Oct 20, 27, Nov 3, 10

The Workshops are based on the Koru Mindfulness program developed at Duke University. Students will learn different skills and forms of meditation to help reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase happiness and compassion, within a small group format so students can encourage and learn from one another. Questions? Contact Joel Harter or Jennifer Brigman.

  • The workshop consists of four 75-minute sessions. Students are expected to attend all four sessions, and to contact us in case of illness or emergency. Students are also expected to spend 10-20 minutes each day practicing Mindfulness. The more committed you are to this, the more you will benefit.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

Koru MindfulnessMindful Elon is a collaboration of students, faculty, and staff. Health Promotion, Counseling Services, Wellness, and the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life are partnering together to offer Koru Mindfulness Workshops and Retreats.
