ELON COLLEGE – Elon College’s Homecoming Reunion Parade isn’t just for students and alumni but the entire community.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. Among the participants are the Alamance County Antique Car Club, the town’s volunteer fire department and the Graham and Bluestone, Va., high school bands. The Bluestone, Va., band is directed by Ricky Allgood, a 1976 Elon graduate.
College President J. Fred Young and his wife, Phyllis, are the grand marshals.
The parade route begins at Moseley Avenue, winds down Haggard Avenue, takes a right at Antioch Avenue, turns right at Lebanon Avenue, takes a right at Williamson Avenue, and returns to Haggard.
