ELON COLLEGE – Dr. Robert Vick, assistant professor of biology at Elon College, working in collaboration with Duke University’s zoology department, has been selected by the Preparing Future Faculty Program to participate in the Shaping the Preparation of Future Science and Mathematics Faculty program.
The program is sponsored by the Association of American Colleges and Universities and the Council for Graduate Schools. It is supported by The Pew Charitable Trusts and the National Science Foundation. Since 1993, the Preparing Future Faculty Program has involved doctoral universities and their partner institutions working together to prepare a new generation of faculty who are entering the profession more informed and aware of their roles and responsibilities.
