Italian pianist Gualdi to perform at Elon, April 1

Paolo Andre Gualdi, who has studied and taught piano at Elon, will play a recital of virtuoso works during a performance at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 1 in Yeager Recital Hall, located in the Faith Rockefeller Center for the Arts on the Elon campus. Gualdi’s recital is free and open to the public.

Gualdi has won numerous piano competitions, including the European Competition of Ostuni and the Francois Grimaldi national compeition of San Polo, Italy. He studied at Elon under Victoria Fischer, associate professor of music, and also taught piano at Elon during the 2000 spring semester.
