Elon to hold Holocaust Remembrance Day vigil, April 18

A 24-hour vigil to remember victims of the Holocaust will begin at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 18 near the entrance to Moseley Center on the Elon campus. The names of Holocaust victims will be read for 24 hours as part of the international Holocaust Remembrance Day.

An explanation of the observance and lighting of memorial candles will take place at 4:30 p.m., April 18. A recitation of the Mourner’s Kaddish will take place every hour, on the hour through 4:30 p.m., April 19.
