Shenandoah Shakespeare Express will present “As You Like It,” Shakespeare’s version of a theatrical picnic, at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 11 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts on the Elon campus.
“As You Like It” depicts the Forest of Arden, Shakespeare’s creation where shepherds converse with clowns, aristocrats camp out like flower children and lovers write sonnets on trees.
Tickets for the show are $10 or free with Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
