Ilana Freedman, senior partner with Gerard Group International, will present a speech titled “Free Market Solutions to Today’s Most Urgent Issues,” at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27 in Whitley Auditorium on the Elon campus. Sponsored by the Liberal Arts Forum, Freedman’s speech is free and open to the public.
Freedman is an expert in the effect of rapid change, both economic and societal, on business. She demonstrates how communities and businesses have become involved voluntarily in environmental and social change, without coercion through taxes or other compulsory methods.
