Elon’s North Carolina Teaching Fellows program will host 50 Teacher Cadets from five area high schools Wednesday, March 6. The Teacher Cadet program is a course for high school students interested in a career in education. Students in the class study North Carolina’s education system and what it means to teach, in addition to field experiences such as their visit to Elon.
The students, who attend Cummings, Graham, Eastern Alamance, Western Alamance and Southern Alamance high schools, will attend a breakfast reception, an Elon class and receive a tour of campus.
