Elon Digital Art Majors Tara Blum and Taylor Hord received
awards last Friday at an electronic media festival coordinated through the University
of North Carolina in Charlotte.
EM Fest is an electronic media awards competition open to college
students from across North Carolina and South Carolina. The goal of EM Fest is to spotlight the top electronic media design students and academic programs from across the Carolinas.
Hord won an award for Digital Illustration and Blum won
for Game Design in the Education division.
Taylor won a copy of Illustrator software from Adobe for his computer and Tara won four books on game design from New Riders Press.
EM Fest will culminate in an awards show on the campus of UNC Charlotte in March 2003. EM Fest is made possible by the support of the UNC Charlotte Art Department, New Riders Publishing, and Adobe.
