Chimney Rock Hiking Trip, April 5

Take a trip to Chimney Rock, N.C., for a day of hiking!

Chimney Rock Park is a scenic attraction located 25 miles southeast of Asheville, with spectacular 75-mile views, numerous hiking trails, a 404-foot waterfall (Hickory Nut Falls is one of the highest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River), a nature center, picnicking and more.

During your visit to the park, you will be able to see some of the sites used to film the epic romatic adventure, “The Last of the Mohicans,” starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeleine Stowe. The climatic fight scene took place at the top of the falls. You’ll definitely recognize this location if you’ve seen the movie.
