Elon panel to discuss “The Many Faces of Feminism,” April 3

Four Elon faculty members will discuss what feminism is and what it means to them during a panel discussion titled “The Many Faces of Feminism,” at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 3 in the Isabella Cannon Room, located in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts on campus. Sponsored by the Women’s/Gender Studies program, the discussion is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served before the event, between 6:30 p.m.-7 p.m.

Panel members include Shawn Tucker, assistant professor of interdisciplinary arts; Resa Walch, director of substance education; Larry Basirico, professor of sociology; and Brooke Barnett, assistant professor of communications. Each will share their stories of how and why they came to call themselves feminists.
