Paula Cardwell, instructor in accounting, Buck McGregor, associate professor of accounting and Wonhi Synn, associate professor of finance, won the award for best paper at the recent Applied Business Research conference in Acapulco, Mexico. Their paper was titled “Bankruptcy Prediction in the Textile Industry.”
Cardwell presented the paper, which was chosen for the award out of 427 papers accepted at the conference.
