Susan Klopman, dean of admissions and financial planning, was a guest on WUNC radio’s “The State of Things,” Wednesday, April 16. She joined host Melinda Penkava, along with Edward Fiske of The Fiske Guide to Colleges, George Dixon of the College Foundation of North Carolina, and Christoph Guttentag, dean of undergraduate admissions at Duke University. The program focused on issues related to college admissions, and Klopman talked about the factors Elon considers in making admissions decisions. She also discussed the advantages of early applications and strategies students can use to gain admission to schools in a competitive environment.
