Dave Powell, associate professor of computing science and business administration, recently had a paper published in the 2003 Proceedings of the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference. The paper, titled “Genetic Algorithms: A Fundamental Component of an Optimization Toolkit,” was also presented at the annual conference in Chicago on July 16.
