Hello to all incoming freshman and current Sierra Club members! I wanted to take this time to extend a welcome to incoming freshmen who may be interested in our group.
Sierra Club is the environmental group on Elon’s campus. We deal with all sorts of environmental issues, with a focus on recycling on campus.
We’re always looking for enthusiastic people who have an interest in taking steps to make our environment cleaner. You don’t have to be a “treehugger,” I promise!
If you are interested in joining Sierra Club, or learning more about us, come to our first meeting at 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27 in the Commuter Lounge, next to Octagon Cafe in Moseley Center.
We’ll be prepping for the Organizational Fair on Aug. 29 and we’ll serve free pizza! Come check it out!
