Moyer’s PSA, “AIDS is a Killer,” was cited as one of the top entries in the contest, organized by OneWorld and MTV’s Staying Alive campaign to mark World AIDS Day. To view Moyer’s PSA, click here.
More than 70 entries were received from around the world, including Senegal, South Africa, Germany and the United Kingdom. Moyer’s entry was one of several by Elon students who are involved with Project Pericles, an initiative sponsored by the Eugene Lang Foundation. Project Pericles has challenged ten colleges and universities to provide a learning experience that will “instill in students an abiding and active sense of social responsibility and civic concern.”
