Two English department faculty members will share their poetry during a reading at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 2 in the Isabella Cannon Room, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus.
Dan Albergotti, assistant professor of English, and Janet Warman, professor of English and education, will read their latest work. Albergotti was a finalist in the 2002 National Poetry Series and is former poetry editor of The Greensboro Review. Warman’s acclaimed poetry includes memory narratives, poetry about women’s issues and new poems from her recent sabbatical work. These are persona poems in the voices of women who have been lovers of famous men.
The reading is free and open to the public.
