Assistant Professor Ringelberg was invited to speak on the role of gender in art at a conference at Furman, March 26-28. The conference, focusing on gender activism, included a performance by the international group of artists known as the Guerrilla Girls. Ringelberg spoke in response to works exhibited at Furman for the conference by three contemporary artists whose art deals specifically with gender issues.
