Greensboro Symphony in concert, May 11

The Greensboro Symphony will end its season with a performance at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 11 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus.

Violinist Tai Murray will perform Tchaikovsky’s “Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Major, Op. 35.” The concert will also include Lyadov’s “Fairy Tales for Orchestra” and Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.”

Murray has performed extensively as a soloist across the U.S. and Europe since debuting as an 8-year-old with the Chicago Symphony. She currently has a full scholarship to The Juilliard School.

Tickets are $18 for orchestra seating and the first two rows of the balcony, $13 for back balcony and $5 for those with valid Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
