The first saxophone quartet ever presented by Lincoln Center, PRISM was chosen by Musical America as “Outstanding Young Artists.” The ensemble has twice been awarded the Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming of Contemporary Music and is the only quartet to perform with an array of revolutionary electronic wind instruments. PRISM draws its repertoire from traditional and contemporary classical compositions and jazz, having commissioned or presented the premiers of over sixty works.
