Digital artist to display work beginning September 28

Digital artist Diane Fenster will open a display of her work with a reception from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28 in the Isabella Cannon Room, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus.

Fenster is an internationally exhibited digital photographer and photo illustrator. She began using the computer as an artistic tool in 1989, innovatively combining her own photography and scanned images. In 2001, Fenster was the first artist to be inducted into the newly formed Photoshop Hall of Fame in Tampa, Fla.

Fenster’s latest series, titled “Your Dreams and Omens Revealed,” is a visual investigation into the methodology of changing one’s fate. Her work will be on display through Oct. 20, and the exhibit is free and open to the public.
