Department of Performing Arts to present “Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical,” Oct. 28-30, Nov. 5-7

The Elon University Department of Performing Arts will perform “Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical,” at 7:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 28-30 and Friday-Saturday, Nov. 5-6. A matinee performance is scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7. All performances will take place in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on campus.

The classic story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde will be told through powerful music, dynamic characters and exciting special effects. When Dr. Jekyll’s experiment backfires, he inadvertently gives life to Mr. Hyde, his evil alter ego, pitting man against himself in a classic tale of the battle between good and evil.

Catherine McNeela, associate professor of performing arts, will serve as director, while Linda Sabo, assistant professor of performing arts, is the choreographer. Kenneth Lee, associate professor of performing arts, is musical director.

Tickets are available for $12 or free for those with valid Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
