Registrar Mark Albertson reports an increase of more than 200 students this spring compared to spring 2004. Although late registration continues through Monday, Feb. 7, enrollment currently stands at 4,681, compared to a final spring 2004 enrollment of 4,442.
Spring semester concludes May 10, with exams scheduled for May 12-17. Elon’s 115th Commencement exercises are scheduled for Saturday, May 21.
Albertson attributes the enrollment boost to increased retention rates, although a small number of new students are also admitted in the spring.
