Results of a recent Elon University Poll, which surveyed North Carolinians about the economy, social security and legislation that would provide in-state tuition for illegal immigrants at state universities, were carried by several media outlets. Details and story links...
The poll was conducted April 18-26 and surveyed 842 state residents. Most notably, the survey found that 49 percent of respondents favored pending legislation in the state House which would provide in-state tuition rates at state universities for illegal immigrants, provided they attend four years at an N.C. high school and declare their intent to achieve legal status.
