Members of the event committee unveiled a check for $44,216.43 that will be presented to officials at Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham and the Children’s Miracle Network. Individual students and organizations who contributed to the effort were also recognized.
Held March 5-6, Elonthon featured 24 hours of dancing, music, games and activities to benefit the hospital. Throughout the event, participants also heard from patients and their families who have been treated at Duke.
