The NC-ACTS! AmeriCorps program has received $225,000 in funding to provide educational awards to students at N.C. Campus Compact institutions across the state.
A total of 225 awards, each worth $1,000, provided scholarship assistance to state students last year. The continued funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service will extend the grant program through the 2005-2006 school year.
