The Leisure and Sport Management 227 class, Programming & Event Management, organized a 9-hole golf tournament this semester, held Friday, April 22 at Indian Valley Golf Course. Approximately 50 golfers participated, raising $1,000 for this semester’s community partner, The Positive Attitude Youth Center (PAYC). Kerry Richmond, director and founder of PAYC, came to Elon Tuesday, May 10 for a check presentation and joined with class members to celebrate the last day of classes. The entire class would like to thank the numerous sponsors, participants and supporters of this semester’s event.
