Chakrabarti to serve as visiting scholar in India

Chandana Chakrabarti, associate professor of religious studies, has been awarded a Visiting Scholar position at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study in Shimla, India. This summer, she will continue her research on “Quantum Consciousness and Eastern Mysticism” which she started in the spring at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton University.

Chakrabarti will deliver two lectures at the Institute, titled “Quantum Consciousness and Eastern Mysticism” and “Gezucket, Fana and Samadhi: Eckhart, Rumi and Samkara.”
