A three-day grid computing workshop was held at Appalachian State University from July 29-31. The workshop was attended by faculty and graduate students from 13 colleges and universities in North Carolina. On Saturday, Joel Hollingsworth led a four-hour workshop on the development and deployment of grid services. On Sunday, Joel and Dave Powell presented the Elon NCREN course on Intelligent Decision Making that they team taught in the spring of 2005 to students from Elon, Appalachian State University and Western Carolina University.
