Duo pianists and identical twins Richard and John Contiguglia will perform at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20 in Whitley Auditorium. The concert is part of the Adams Foundation Piano Recital Series and is sponsored by the Burlington Times-News and Elon University. Details...
The program will feature a performance of Franz Liszt’s transcription for two pianos of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and Symphonic Poem No. 4, Orpheus. The Contiguglias have played with major orchestras including the Boston Pops, the Atlanta Symphony and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
Tickets for the performance are $15, or free for those with valid Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased at the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
