Valle presents paper at business and technology conference

Matt Valle, Associate Professor of Business Administration, presented a paper on Friday, 4 November, titled “Turnover and Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Physicians: A Test of Job Embeddedness Theory” at the 2005 Conference on Emerging Issues in Business and Technology in Myrtle Beach, SC. The paper was written with Chris Leupold, Assistant Professor of Psychology, and Kerry Leupold, M.D., a practicing PEM physician. The paper examined the nature of employee turnover using a framework developed from attachment theory. The paper was subsequently published in the conference proceedings.
