Elon University and Wal-Mart today annouced the winner in their partnership to win a party with the Elon football, dance and cheerleading teams as well as the mascot. The lucky winner is Christopher Alberti, a third-grader at Smith Elementary School and a local mite league football player.
On Thursday, the teams will load up on two charter busses to travel from Elon University to Smith Elementary School, located on Delaney Street in Burlington, for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Christopher and 24 of his closest friends. This is a partnership with the Alamance-Burlington School System. Food and drinks will be provided by corporate sponsors.
