Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso they’re not, but on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 6:15 p.m. outside Koury Center, three of Elon’s finest student announcers will host “Elon Gameday.” Join Chad Nason, Phil Elkins and Jimmy Thomson when they host the biggest party of the year before the Phoenix battles the four-time defending Big South champion Winthrop Eagles at the Nest Saturday night.
“Gameday” will feature all that you’ve come to expect from a college game day football broadcast, including facts, figures and a visit from Elon basketball coach Mark Simons. Fans who come out will be eligible for free giveaways, and free buffalo wings will be available for everyone while supplies last.
