Registrar Mark Albertson reports increased enrollment this spring compared to spring 2005. Although late registration continues through Monday, Feb. 6, enrollment currently stands at 4,715, compared to a final spring 2005 enrollment of 4,682.
Spring semester concludes May 9, with exams scheduled for May 11-16. Elon’s 116th Commencement exercises are scheduled for Saturday, May 20.
Albertson attributes the enrollment boost to increased retention rates, as well as a small number of new students who are admitted in the spring.
