Psychology major earns fellowship to study male eating disorders

Adrienne Helmick, a junior psychology major, has been awarded a summer research REU fellowship at Western Kentucky University. REU fellowships are funded by the National Science Foundation, and are awarded by only 12 psychology programs nationwide. Western Kentucky University is the only institution in the U.S. offering REU fellowships that emphasize lifespan developmental psychology. During her summer experience, Adrienne will be conducting research on male eating disorders.
