Elon to host unique art exhibit; open through April 20

An exhibit of two- and three-dimensional artwork, all smaller than 5 inches-by-5 inches, will open with a reception from 5-7 p.m., Monday, April 3 in the Isabella Cannon Room, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus. The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibit is part of the James H. McEwen, Jr. Visual Arts Series.

The only criteria for the show are that the images must be smaller than 5×5 and must be wall-hanging works. A call for entries has gone out nationally to artists and students at colleges and universities. Works by Elon students will also be featured during the exhibit, which will be on display through April 20. The Cannon Room will be open for public viewing of the exhibit from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
