Blanton qualifies as SKYWARN Spotter for National Weather Service

Sankey Blanton, who teaches Introductory Meteorology each Winter Term, has been designated a qualified SKYWARN Spotter for the National Weather Service (NWS). SKYWARN is a volunteer group that reports specific weather hazards associated with strong storm systems, such as tornados, hail, or high winds.
