Peters attends global ethics conference in Belgium

Toddie Peters, Distinguished Emerging Scholar and assistant professor of religious studies, is participating in the 1st International Global Ethics Conference in Ghent, Belgium. The conference is sponsored by the Center for Ethics and Value Inquiry at the University of Ghent.

Peters will present a keynote lecture titled, “Justice in a World Gone Mad: Assessing the Ethical Landscape of Globalization.” She will also moderate a panel discussion on Friday, April 28.

Titled “What is Global Ethics and How to Research It?,” the conference has drawn together leading scholars from around the world who are studying global ethics and the methodological challenges of research in this emerging field.
