The new Elon University Triathlon Club traveled for the first time as a team this past weekend. Eight students traveled to Hampton-Syndey College in Virginia to compete in a sprint triathlon. The event was organized by Steve Harrell, an Elon alum from the class of 2001. Steve is the Fitness Center & Intramural Director/Head Strength Coach at HSC.
It was a great event bringing together current students and alumni, as the trip was advised by Meghan Dillon, also from Elon’s class of ’01. The students did an outstanding job.
